Research topics include: living shorelines, beach and tidal inlet dynamics, barrier island response to extreme events, groundwater impacts to coastal lagoons, and infrastructure resilience. Folks, we have hit an all time record for site traffic one-half of the way through 2012! From January 1 through June 30 of this year 413 new people have visited this site, and 89 previous visitors have returned, combining for 502 unique visits in about 180 days. The total number of page loads during this time was 844! That’s a lot of people reading about coastal engineering at the University of South Alabama. Click on the image at right for a history of site traffic during this period.

 

While I’ve maintained a web site for a number of years, this blog-style format has only been live since March 26, 2010. To date, the site has had 4993 page loads, and 2471 unique visitors. Please keep coming back for more, and be sure to follow me using LinkedIn, Twitter, or the RSS feed for this site (icons/links at left). There’s about to be a lot of new information posted to the site, along with significant content updates. We’ve been very busy here!
